Eligibility
General Requirements for the FBI Internship Program 2023
To apply for the Honors Internship Program, applicants must for the students:
- Be a U.S. citizen for the FBI Internship Program 2023.
- Attend a college or university full time as an undergraduate, graduate or post-doctoral student are eligible for the FBI Internship Program 2023. Students are not eligible if they will graduate before the program start date are eligible for the FBI Internship Program 2023; exceptions are permitted to students continuing their education in the semester immediately following are eligible for the FBI Internship Program 2023.
- Have and maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or better at the time of application, throughout the application process and for the duration of the internship program are eligible for the FBI Internship Program 2023.
- Pass all of the FBI employment background investigation requirements and be able to receive a Top Secret Clearance are eligible for the FBI Internship Program 2023.

Cost/funding for participants
The Honors Internship Program (HIP) is a 10-week, paid internship so read it carefully:
- Interns with a bachelor’s degree who are enrolled in a full-time graduate program will receive GS-5 pay for the students in the FBI Internship Program 2023.
- All other full-time students, including dual-enrollment students, will receive GS-4 pay for the students in the FBI Internship Program 2023, including undergraduate students enrolled in a graduate course for the students in the FBI Internship Program 2023.
