Prince of Songkla University PhD Scholarships 2024 will pay for

Eligibility Criteria for Prince of Songkla University PhD Scholarships

To be eligible for a Prince of Songkla University PhD Scholarship 2024, candidates must meet each of the standards listed below:

  3. International students have strong academic credentials and research backgrounds.
  4. Only newly graduated students who want to start their studies at PS in semesters one or two are eligible.
  5. The subject for which the prior degree was earned must coincide with and meet the curriculum requirements of the programme.
  6. The candidate cannot get living expense reimbursement from another scholarship within the same time frame.

    4. The scholar has to have a non-immigrant “ED visa” (Study Permit) and be enrolled full-time in school. The scholar who is travelling to Thailand on a tourist visa is not permitted to enrol and risks having their scholarship revoked.

    6. Every six months, the scholar is required to report to the dentistry faculty on the status of their studies.
  8. In the third semester, the scholar needs to pass the proposal test.

  10. The scholar must follow the graduation requirements of each graduate programme and publish his or her dissertation in at least two credible, peer-reviewed international journals that are indexed in Web of Science (with an ISI impact factor) to meet the scholarship criteria.
  11. After being accepted into a certain programme of study, a candidate is not permitted to move to a different programme and is required to finish the study within the allotted period.
  12. Should a scholar fail to make progress on their thesis or studies without appropriate justification, the graduate programme committees are required to notify the Faculty of Dentistry.
